From Swiss pralines to Belgian truffles, chocolate lovers will savor their time at chocolART in Tübingen, Germany’s largest chocolate festival.
In late November, south of Stuttgart, the university town will celebrate the start of winter with chocolART.
Chocolate + chocolate + chocolate will be the focus of the gourmet festival in the town’s main square known for its old Town Hall and half-timbered houses.
Some 100+ chocolate specialists are expected to attend the sweet event.
Germany’s top Meister-Chocolatiers will feature their chocolate art. While Master Chocolatiers from 10+ countries including Belgium, Austria, France, Switzerland, Italy and Colombia, will also participate.
Among the festival highlights will be:
- Chilli-flavored chocolate;
- Anti-stress pralines;
- Cheese matured with chocolate;
- Local Chocolate, Dine & Wine restaurant menus,
- Chocolate and malt whisky tastings;
- Chocolate-making workshops;
- Cooking with chocolate and
- How to paint your car with chocolate.
In the town, Hotel Krone will offer special chocolate massage packages for the holiday season.
For children, Germany chocolate company Ritter Sport will set up a mobile chocolate factory.
