Summer river cruising is a beautiful way to see some cities in Europe.
In Prague, cruising the Vltava River with local travel companies is popular in the summer. Dating back to the late 19th century, the tradition of river boat trips began with the first river cruising companies and travelers.
Take your time, first wander and be charmed by this romantic Czech city. Find local companies which offer ways that you can live, eat and play like a local in Prague.
With river cruises, book a trip with one of the river cruise companies whose cruises offer expert commentary on Prague’s monuments and points of interest as seen from the river perspective. These river cruise boats themselves range from small 20 feet long boats to larger 115 feet long pleasure cruisers.
Fine Dining
After river cruising and relaxing at your holiday apartment, you could dine at one of the two Prague restaurants recently awarded a Michelin star in the Michelin Main Cities Guide.
These new Michelin star restaurants are Alcron Restaurant by Chef Roman Paulus and La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise by Chef Oldrich Sahajdak. While Alcron specializes in fish and seafood, La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise serves traditional Czech cuisine.
In fact, the number of gourmet restaurants in Prague continues to increase with two more restaurants, Sansho and Monastery, acquiring the BiB Gourmand label. Already, Prague restaurants SaSaZu, Le Terroir, Aromi and Divinis have been awarded and retained this respected culinary distinction.
