The Beijing hotel scene is expanding, with one of its newest hotels, EAST, Beijing, a lifestyle + business hotel opening in fall 2012.

This new city hotel will open at INDIGO in Chaoyang District, Beijing. Located in Jiangtai in the city’s Chaoyang District, EAST, Beijing is between the 4th and 5th Ring Roads. EAST, Beijing is Swire Hotels’ second hotel in the city following The Opposite House.

Connected to the INDIGO shopping mall, the hotel is adjacent to ONE INDIGO, a Grade A office tower.  There are future plans to connect the hotel to the Beijing Subway Line 14.

For international business travelers, the hotel is just 15 minutes from the Beijing International Capital Airport and close to city business districts CBD and Wangjing, and 798 Art District and Chaochangdi Art Zone.

Designed for business travelers, the hotel aims at creating a relaxing, contemporary atmosphere with services including a paperless check-in and check-out and a one-stop front-desk Guest Experience.

EAST, Beijing has 369 rooms with Urban Views (Beijing’s downtown) and Park Views (17-hectare park). Each room features international power-points, iPod touch technology, free WiFi broadband Internet access throughout the hotel.  Some of the hotel’s facilities include Beast (Body by EAST) which has a fully-equipped gym, a swimming pool and an outdoor splash pool.

The hotel also offers its guest dining at two restaurants – Feast (international menu) and Hagaki, (Californian-inspired Japanese) and entertainment at Zian, a multi-element bar, lounge and music venue.
